Terms, conditions and payment


Welsh Water’s standard Purchase Order terms and conditions apply when supplying goods or services. Information on payment and invoicing is available via the links on this page.

All Goods, Services and Works are procured utilising the appropriate form of Welsh Water standard Terms & Conditions and NEC Terms.

Welsh Water is committed to prompt payment principles, particularly for SMEs. Welsh Water aims to pay all undisputed invoices within 30 days of valid receipt in accordance with our processes for submitting invoices set out in the Payment and Invoice Guidance document found below, irrespective of invoice value or payee and in line with published standard payment terms.

In some instances, we may have agreed different payment terms under our contracts with suppliers in which case those agreed terms shall apply. In these cases, Welsh Water aims to pay undisputed invoices within the payment timeframe agreed within the particular contract.
